A little bitter...

So I am in a bad mood. Gonna rant here. My wife ran off to St. Louis via Amtrack with her family.

That ain't my problem.

My problem is the sick codependent dog and the depressed horse.

Daisy has decided to have explosive diarrhea. Poor dog I know, but what gits me is she is one of those dogs that panics and runs when the action starts. I have so far cleaned the sheets, the couch, numerous towels. I can't even take her to the vet until a money transfer occurs in a day or so since my wife is in far off exotic, and apparently cellphone free St. Louis...

And hey...

Before she left she got called numerous times from K & G about JJ. (Cellphones work here ya see) Off his feed, depressed, listless... I stopped out where he is for ICB to love on him before I took her home. He seemed ok to me, but what jokes do you tell a horse to cheer him up??

Besides, St. Louis doesn't even have a proper song....

Truth

I got this video as a email from a great American John Coffey. Find him here at :

http://johnjudyc.blogspot.com (not sure why this isn't a link? Help Wife!)

Maybe this:
coffeypot

This is a video of Condi Rice facing down and schoolin a collage twerp who I would be willing to bet has never:

1. Seen death in person
2. Seen Hunger
3. Had a job
4. Been told No
5. Had his own brain
6. A date with the opposite sex

Who has:

1. A mommy who does everything for him
2. A car
3. More then one credit card he does not pay for
4. A bearded, sweater wearing professor he dreams about
5. A trust fund
6. The ability to troubleshoot windows Vista.

Shallow and judgmental enough for y'all?

Not to pat my own back, but I would if I could! (Haha, thanks Glen Ray.) When I was this child's age I had life experience, held a child as he died (God speed Tim Taylor Jr.), quit high school to git a full time job and help my family when my former Step Dad (Douche Bag) left my mom (Angel), and been to collage where I was subjected to discipline, room inspections, standing for daily inspection and physical exertion. (God bless the Fire Academy), and I knew to respect my betters.

I love the scene where ya see him trippin over his lower lip, lookin like he is gonna cry! And even better is when she gives him the answer to the question she asks him. She is a class act. Brilliant, courageous, inspiring, and just plain WOW!

Trauma for giggles

I am sittin here with my wife, waitin for my pain to dry. She is watchin sub par TV . Seems like a necessary part of this TV is the need for gun shot wounds trauma and serious injury. Unfortunately my former Paramedic life does not let me enjoy this nonsense. Git shot in the shoulder Brachial artery hmmm or blasted in the upper thigh hey never mind that femoral artery...

Having been there and done that I find myself repulsed by violence for entertainment.

I much more prefer the violence for a purpose like the beach scene from Saving Private Ryan. Pure nasty, unflinching gore. But Gore that makes you appreciate what my Grandpa's ran through on that beach on that June morning back in 1944. Why did they both live to go on and make me? I can't express enough my admiration on what has rightly been called "Our Greatest Generation." To leave the farm, factory, or job and walk across the world to fight evil.

Ok, so I have seemed to be chasin rabbits here, so be it.
